ABOUT
JOE DAN GORMAN
Born in Dallas, raised in Eastern Kentucky… Hazard KY to be exact, Gorman had built a moderately successful real estate career in Arizona prior to the 2007 crash. Followed by custody battles, and loss of his parents left him starting over.
From 2008-1014, Joe Dan took an unexpected detour via 6 years of homelessness in Kansas City… would actually became a hidden blessing, and actually allowed Joe Dan to discover his previously unknown talents— in the world of digital media.
Using the free software in a used HP laptop, He created the viral video “I Will Follow Him,” which launched his path into political humor. In 2012 he launched Intellectual Froglegs and was nominated for CPAC Video Blogger of the Year in 2013.
In 2014, following the modest success of Intellectual Froglegs, Joe Dan moved to the Nashville area—-in 2015, he reunited with his son after 10 years of wrongful separation. Today they have one of the greatest relationships ever. And Joe Dan is a proud grandfather to two handsome young men!
By 2019, Intellectual Froglegs was rocking… and Joe Dan was invited to put on a live performance of Intellectual Froglegs at TRUMP DORAL in the Donald J Trump ballroom.
THE BIDEN YEARS -
The Biden years were 4 Years of Hell for American small businesses.
Multiple simultaneous government-inflicted catastrophes — COVID lockdowns, record-high interest rates, Soviet-style government censorship, and assorted other deliberate nation-ending wounds — hurt a lot of good people and destroyed many small businesses. Intellectual Froglegs was one of the lucky ones and managed to hang on by its fingernails, limping into 2025.
But Intellectual Froglegs had survived.
2025 brought it’s own surprises. Intellectual Froglegs’ lease was not renewed in April, so with fingernails still bloody from the Biden years, Gorman had to relocate the entire Frogleg operation.
Then the Grand Poobah, in August, Joe Dan had triple-bypass, open-heart surgery. Another major setback, six months off work— but Joe Dan had learned count on his secret weapon—-his unshakable a faith in our Lord is Jesus Christ.
Now he's back.
